Equal Opportunity Office
The Equal Opportunity Office is the central point of contact for questions relating to gender equality at Osnabrück University. Beyond the gender equality mandate formulated in the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act (Section 3 (3) NHG), we as members of the Equal Opportunity Office are committed to ensuring equal opportunities for all genders at our university and adopt an intersectional approach in pursuing this goal.
In order to achieve the goal of gender equality at our university, we provide advice and support to university members who are subject to discrimination or harassment in their everyday study or work life. To our counseling and support services.
We also assist in processes of (university) development and draw up suggestions for changes to existing regulations, administrative procedures and processes in order to achieve cultural and structural improvements with regard to aspects of equal opportunities.
