Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance of the mentoring programs is ensured on an ongoing basis in order to optimally adapt the programs to the needs and requirements of the mentees and mentors. In addition to evaluations of all program events, an interim review and a final workshop for mentees are held in each program cycle. Both workshops offer space for sharing experiences, reflection and feedback. They form an important basis for the further planning of the current program and the design of future mentoring programs at Osnabrück University. In addition, quality management includes a written survey of mentees and mentors at the end of the program. The aims of the survey are:

  • To determine satisfaction with the mentoring program and its individual components
  • To assess the achievement of individual goals and the effects of the program on the basis of a self-assessment
  • To collect suggestions for changes and additions for future program runs
  • The collection of tips for future program participants

Quality Standards

The mentoring programs at Osnabrück University are designed on the basis of the quality standards of the Federal Association Forum Mentoring e. V.
