Bachelor's Degree Programs (one subject) - admission-free
On this page you will find all information about the enrollment procedure for open-admission Bachelor's degree programs (one subject). There is no specific number of study spots to be allocated in open-admission degree programs. If you meet the admission requirements, you will be enrolled directly and can begin your studies.

Enrollment
For Bachelor's Degree Programs admission-free (one subject), you go through the electronic enrollment procedure in the application portal. All necessary steps are explained and you will be guided safely and informatively. Please note that documents are no longer submitted by mail, but must be uploaded to the application portal in PDF format within the above-mentioned deadline. Osnabrück University reserves the right to randomly check uploaded documents and to request the original document or a verified document.
Please note: In some degree programs, proof of special admission requirements, such as language skills, is required for admission to your degree program. Therefore, please familiarize yourself with the information on admission requirements.
All applications submitted and documents uploaded within the above-mentioned enrollment period will be checked by the University Admissions Office. They will also check whether you meet the admission requirements for the respective Bachelor's degree program.

You don't have login credentials yet? Then please register and then log in via "Applicant Login"!
Underage Applicants
Underage applicants must submit a declaration of consent (PDF, 16.07 kB) with their application.
If you fulfill all the requirements for your application form the status will be changed and displayed in the Osnabrück University application portal as "enrolled". The application portal also contains information and notes on this.
Please make sure to keep an eye on the status of your procedure in the application portal and your inbox there, but also on your email inbox. To be safe, always check your spam folder as well.
You will then receive a welcome letter via the Osnabrück University portal with further information and instructions for your studies, including how to set up your access to myuos.uni-osnabrueck.de, how to re-register for the next semester and how to use your email address and Campuscard. Please make sure that you complete setting up your access within 14 days of receiving the welcome letter.

Classification Recommendation
Please note: Applicants for a study spot in a higher semester can only be enrolled in an admission free Bachelor's degree program (one subject), if the responsible office has issued a corresponding placement recommendation, you submit this to the Admissions Office. You can contact the Admissions Office by email via studierendensekretariat@uni-osnabrueck.de to find out which office is responsible for you.
Urgent recommendation!
Before transferring to Osnabrück University, please contact the respective academic advisors/deans of studies to clarify which achievements can be credited and whether the practical entry into the higher semester is possible without any problems or loss of time.

Only if the overall result of the check is positive will this be displayed in the Osnabrück University application portal as a change of status ("Enrolled").
