Undergraduate degree programs are Bachelor's degree programs and the First State Examination in Law.

If the demand exceeds the supply of study spots in this degree program at Osnabrück University and not all applicants can obtain a study spot due to lack of capacity.

You can find a list of degree programs with admission restrictions and further information in the  overview of admission restrictions.

The number of available study spots varies for each degree program with admission restrictions and is determined anew for each academic year in the  state's admissions regulations.

If you are applying for a study spot in a degree program with restricted admission, the allocation of which is coordinated by Hochschulstart.de, you will find detailed information on the  Hochschulstart.de website.

In all other cases, the following applies:

  • If you have never been enrolled at Osnabrück University before, you must register once in the Osnabrück University  application portal. You will then receive a registration confirmation with your user ID by email. Follow the instructions in the email to activate your access and then log in via "Bewerber-Login" to start the online application procedure or the enrollment procedure.
  • If you have already (once) been enrolled at Osnabrück University, log in to the Osnabrück University application portal via "Uni-Login" with your Uni-Login and then use the online application function. You will have received your university login details with your welcome letter.

These have not been determined yet. Rather, they are only determined at the end of each allocation procedure, as the so-called N.C. (numerus clausus/procedure grade or selection limit) for each allocation procedure depends on the respective number of valid applications for the respective degree program, the applicants' grades and the respective number of spots available (supply and demand). The  selection thresholds from the previous year can therefore only serve as a general guideline.

Information on this can be found in the  application information for international students and at  uni-assist.
