Ombudsman committee
The ombudspersons receive reports of possible scientific misconduct and carry out the preliminary investigation in accordance with Section 15 of the Regulations for Good Research Practice. The work of the ombudspersons is guided by the aim of mediating between the parties involved in a matter, insofar as this is possible and appropriate in view of the seriousness of the alleged misconduct. The ombudspersons should provide information about the rights of those involved and the procedural steps in the event of suspected scientific misconduct.
