Uni for All
How does the "Uni for All" work?
Are you interested in scientific topics, but a regular course of study is out of the question for you? Then take advantage of the "Uni for All" and become a guest student! Numerous courses at Osnabrück University (list at the bottom of the page) are open to people who are not enrolled and/or do not have a university entrance qualification. You can attend courses for up to eight "semester hours per week". One semester hour per week corresponds to 45 minutes of instruction per week.
Please note: Guest students are not entitled to take examinations at Osnabrück University in accordance with Section 10 (4) of the Matriculation Regulations.
How do I get admitted?
In order to participate, you only need to select the desired courses, submit an application for admission (PDF, 340 kB) and pay a fee. You do not need to submit a university entrance qualification, certificates or other documents. If you are unable to use the online application, you can obtain a paper copy from the Admissions Office and the Central Study Counseling Service Osnabrück.
Important: You must submit a new application for admission for each semester by April 15 (summer semester) or October 15 (winter semester).
If you would like to take up to four semester hours per week (= 4 x 45 minutes per week), a fee of 75 euros per semester applies. If you wish to take more than four semester hours per week, a fee of 100 euros per semester will be charged.
