When applying, please ensure that you choose the appropriate Bachelor's Degree Program (two subjects) for your intended (professional) goal:
- Bachelor of Vocational Education = Vocational Teacher Education
- Bachelor of Education and Teaching = Primary and Secondary Teacher Education (Grund-, Haupt- und Realschule)
- Dual-Subject Bachelor = Secondary Teacher Education (Gymnasium) or subject-specific orientation

There is no specific number of places to be allocated in admission-free degree programs. You therefore apply for enrollment directly.
If you meet the admission requirements, you will be enrolled directly and can begin your studies!

Enrollment

- Bachelor of Vocational Education = Vocational Teacher Education

For the admission-free Bachelor's Degree Programs (two subjects) , you will go through the electronic enrollment procedure in the application portal. All the necessary steps are explained there and you will be guided safely and informatively. Please note that no documents must be submitted by post, but must be uploaded to the application portal in PDF format within the above-mentioned deadline. Osnabrück University reserves the right to randomly check uploaded documents and to request the original document or a verified document.
Please note: In some degree programs, proof of special admission requirements, such as language skills, is required for admission to your degree program. Therefore, please familiarize yourself with the information on special admission requirements.
All applications and uploaded documents submitted within the above-mentioned enrolment period will be checked for completeness by the University Admissions Office. They will also check whether you meet the admission requirements for the respective sub-degree program/subject.

Underage Applicants
Applicants who are not yet an adult must submit a declaration of consent (PDF, 16.07 kB) with their application.
Only if the overall result of the examination is positive will this be displayed in the Osnabrück University application portal as a change of status ("enrolled") for both sub-degree programs/subjects.
The application portal also contains information and notes on this. We recommend that you not only keep an eye on the status of your procedure in the application portal and your inbox there, but also keep an eye on your email inbox. To be on the safe side, always check your spam folder.
You will then receive a welcome letter via the Osnabrück University portal with further information and instructions for your studies, including how to set up your access to myuos.uni-osnabrueck.de, how to re-register for the next semester and how to use your email address and Campuscard. Please make sure that you complete setting up your access within 14 days of receiving the welcome letter.

Classification Recommendation
Please note: For all applicants for a study spot in a higher semester, you can only be enrolled in a higher semester of an admission-free Bachelor's Degree Program (two subjects) if the office responsible for you has issued a corresponding placement recommendation. placement recommendation and you submit this to the Admissions Office.
