Apply via uni-assist

Application deadline for many non-european prospective students: The application procedure via uni-assist is running! You have until June 15 to apply for the winter semester 2026/27.

How does the application and enrollment process work?

1. Note information about the degree program

Once you have decided on a  Course of Study, you should first check whether you meet the necessary  Requirements, e.g. with regard to university entrance qualifications or language skills. You can study at our university not only if you have a high school diploma, there are also other ways to study at university! If nothing stands in the way of your application or enrolment, please find out if there are any  Admission Restrictions for your chosen degree course.

  • If the course is not restricted, you can enrol without applying.
  • If the degree course is subject to admission restrictions, you must apply for the course.
  • Please note: When applying for Master's degree programs - regardless of whether admission is open or restricted - your application must always be reviewed by the relevant selection committee!

2. Application, admission and enrolment

You will find all the necessary information on the procedure under  Application, Admission and Enrollment. Here you can go directly to the  application and enrollment deadlines. You can submit your documents digitally in our online application portal  HISinOne-Student Administration.

If you are applying for a degree program with restricted admission, you will receive a letter of admission, exclusion or rejection after your documents have been reviewed. If you have given your consent, this will be sent to you digitally. Otherwise, you will receive the documents by post.

If you are admitted, you can then accept the study place in the application portal and enrol (matriculate).

In the event of rejection, you have the option of declaring your participation in a succession procedure that may take place.

3. Start your studies
