Type and Weighting of Subjects

The following list contains an excerpt on the type and weighting of subjects (supplemented at the 397th meeting of the Executive Board on 18 April 2024) decided and approved by the Executive Board in its 393rd meeting on 22 February 2024 for the selection decision in admission restricted undergraduate degree programs and applies to the selection procedure in the 2024 academic year.

In the selection decision, the result of the higher education entrance qualification (HZB) is weighted at 60% (average grade or score) and the best grades of the last four school semesters in two subjects shown in the higher education entrance qualification are weighted at 20% each according to the following table (§ 3 of the  General Regulations on the Selection Procedure for the Allocation of Study Spots in Undergraduate Degree Programs (PDF, 295 kB)).
