Electrical Engineering - Vocational Teacher Education for Specialized Bachelor
At vocational schools, there has been a structural shortage of teachers in the industrial-technical subject areas for years. The Master "Electrical Engineering - Vocational Teacher Education for Specialized Bachelor" is therefore aimed at those who have already completed a degree (Bachelor, Master or Diplom) in Electrical Engineering and wish to qualify for Vocational Teacher Education.
This degree course builds on the Electrical Engineering degree you have already completed. In order to qualify for the teaching profession, you will study a general education subject, vocational and business education content and the didactics of your vocational subject area (Electrical Engineering).

You can only be admitted to this course if you already have a qualified degree (Bachelor's, Master's or Diplom) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable subject. You must also provide evidence of vocational and business education and/or (subject) didactic skills amounting to 15 credit points. Study and examination achievements or relevant knowledge and skills acquired outside the university can be recognized for this. If you do not already provide evidence of these skills in your application, you must acquire them by the time you complete your Master's degree.
Applicants with international certificates must have sufficient knowledge of German.
This subject is free of admission.
If you would like to choose English as a subject, you must provide proof of English language proficiency in accordance with the regulations on special access requirements for studying English/Anglophone Studies.

The examination regulations do not prescribe an obligatory period of study abroad. However, a number of Options for Studying Abroad are available to you within a range of exchange programs. The International Office will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Studying at Osnabrück University means you will be subject to semester fees.
