The global temperatures are increasing, sea levels are rising, and natural disasters appearing more frequently and disastrously. Let’s discover at climate emotions and how we can use them in the fight against the climate catastrophe!
From wanted rain to harmful flooding
Taking a refreshing walk through the rain after a hot summer’s day or cozying up inside with a hot cup of tea in autumn while the rain is hitting the window – delightful! Carrying out buckets of muddy water from your basement, streets being turned into fast rivers, being evacuated from your flooded house or even worse – a nightmare! How does city construction and planning directly affect water drainage and flooding risks?

Ever been so excited it felt like your heart would leave your chest and someone told you to take a deep breath to relax? Did you find yourself calming down? This is not a fluke, simply said, you actually managed to stimulate a nerve that told your heart to slow down. If such a simple technique can already have an impact, what else can research in this area show us? We will even do a small experiment together!

Probably ever since Science Fiction was invented as a genre, people were enthralled with the ideas of Cyborgs – humans who enhance their bodies with machine parts. Brain-Computer-Interfaces come close to this SciFi idea. But instead of enhancing human performance, they are build to support people in their day-to-day life. This can for example be facilitating communication or easing mobility.
