Target group: Postdoctoral researchers
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) are part of the Excellence Pillar within the European Union’s Research and Innvoation Funding Programme Horizon Europe and aim to support the career development of researchers. The fellowship will fund a position at a host institution of your choice in an EU member state or Associated Country for a period of 1-2 years (2-3 years for global fellowships with a retun to a host in EU/Ass. Country).
Eligibility criteria for the MSCA PF:
- hold a doctoral degree by the time of the call deadline (September 10, 2025)
- have no more than 8 years of full-time equivalent research experience
- undertake international mobility. (This means that candidates cannot have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the Host Institution for more than 12 months in the past 3 years.)
KoWi is the EU liaison office of the German research organisations and supports stakeholders in the German science community who want to apply for EU funding for their projects.
The KoWi Masterclass 2025 for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships offers:
- An Information Session introducing the MSCA PF to set the stage for your success.
- An Interactive Workshop that will guide you through the essential aspects of crafting a winning proposal.
- Continuous Assistance with your proposal up to submission by the research consultants
- Networking Opportunities with other MSCA PF candidates.
How to apply for the Masterclass:
If you meet the eligibility criteria for the MSCA PF and are interested to join our Masterclass, simply send an email to daniel.rueffer@uni-osnabrueck.de by the 9th of May at the latest. Please state:
- the name of your confirmed hosting professor at Osnabrück University
- a brief description of your research background
- some details on your planning stage of the proposal

Note: While the Interactive Workshop on day 2 is designed for max. 12 participants and you will need to apply, the programme on day 1 has no such limitation. If you wish to attend only day 1 (also as a potential host at Osnabrück University), please just register via E-Mail (see above).
