Career prospects

The career prospects for mathematicians in Germany and abroad have been very good in the past and continue to be excellent.

There is no fixed job profile for mathematicians, as there is for doctors or lawyers, for example. Mathematicians can find a variety of jobs in industry, banks, insurance companies, management consultancies or software companies.
