This course will provide you with a framework for developing the skills that will allow you to produce stylistically adequate and grammatically correct speech. It gives you an understanding of what it takes to improve your spoken English by using appropriate collocations, correct intonation, pronunciation, specific attributes of spoken English, and to use topic-appropriate lexis.
Course sessions will be founded on textual and/or audio material which students will be required to prepare prior to the sessions, by noting and memorising useful vocabulary and structural items for use in the discussions. The content of these materials will also form the basis for additional rhetorical discourse.
AELP II will continue and build upon the lexico-grammatical aspects begun in the B3 module
