House-hunting

International visiting scholars can stay at the Osnabrück University Guest House. Families with children can also live in the centrally located art nouveau-style villa. However, the number of apartments available is limited. If interested, your German host should apply for you as early as possible.
If you have any questions, please contact the Guest House. The Guest House management will be pleased to help you.

If you do not wish to stay at the Guest House or if no apartments are available, the management of the Guest House will help you look for accommodation on the private housing market. Please ask your host Institute/School to assist in the process.

Housing adverts are published in the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung on Saturdays and Wednesdays. You might also want to consider placing an advert yourself or hiring a real estate agent to help you.

If you need a temporary solution quickly, you might like to try Zweitraum Osnabrück, which offers accommodation at short notice. However, a fee based on the length of the rental agreement and the monthly rent will be charged for this service.
