International Short Term Programs

Information on short-term programs such as Summer and Spring Schools at Osnabrück University.

Application for participation in the online program “Global Citizenship and Sustainable Futures: Learning for Change” open until February 9, 2025!

Osnabrück University has been a member of the International Network of Universities (INU) since April 2023. Last year, INU launched a new online program called “Global Citizenship and Sustainable Futures: Learning for Change”, which is entering its third round in March. The program is aimed at students of all disciplines and study cycles (Bachelor, Master and PhD) who are enrolled at an INU member university. Osnabrück University can select 10 students to participate in the March intake.

The course will be delivered fully online through a mixture of pre-recorded content, live virtual sessions, and student group work/presentation. Learning will be in collaboration with students from other INU institutions giving participants the opportunity to interact with peers from across the world. The program requires students to have a good level of English and to be ready to actively participate. Participants must also be able to take part in the 3 core sessions and 3 elective sessions over a period of 12 months. Interested students should therefore check the exact course dates in advance. Further information on the program, the specific content and the dates can be found on the program website.

INU will issue a certificate to students who have successfully completed the program. In order to successfully complete the program, students are expected to attend and actively participate in the required sessions in order to receive the certificate of completion from INU.
