Mentoring Program for female PhD Candidates
Application phase has started
The next mentoring program for female PhD candidates will start in June 2025. The application phase has started and is open until January 8, 2025. International applications by female doctoral candidates are welcome. However, while the One-to-One Mentoring can take place in English (or other languages), the workshops and other events are held in German. Mentoring program for female doctoral candidates "Career prospects after the doctorate"
The twelve-months mentoring program is directed at all female doctoral candidates at Osnabrück University who are in the orientation phase with a view to their professional career within or outside academia after completing their doctorate. First-generation students, i.e., persons whose parents have not studied, are particularly invited to apply.
Through individual advisory relationships with experienced mentors, supportive cooperation in the group of mentees, a workshop program tailored to the requirements of the qualification phase of the mentees as well as various networking activities, the program offers female doctoral candidates individual support in their career development and contributes to their personal growth.
The next round of the program is taking place between June 2025 and June 2026, including a preparatory phase with two workshops taking place in April and May 2025.
